I love autumn, it is my favourite time of year. So much to look forward to; crisp mornings, our annual trip the Center Parcs, Bonfire Night and the big C!! Looking out of my window now it is still very green but the autumn colours will be coming out soon. Here are the colours I have chosen, but the combinations I could have used are endless.
I thought I would venture in to the baby wipe technique - I am not one for 'messy' techniques that give unpredictable results, but wow!!
I used the Colorful Seasons stamp set and the Seasonal Layers Thinlit dies a lovely bundle new to the annual catalogue this year so many stamps and dies that can be used throughout the year.
Card Recipe
- A6 Old Olive card blank
- 3" square of Color Theory DSP sentiment stamped in Old Olive
- 3.25" square Daffodil Delight
- 8 leaves stamped on Very Vanilla using the baby wipe technique with Garden Green, Daoffodil Delight and Cherry Cobbler ink refils. The detail was stamped using Garden Green ink and the Stamp-a-ma-jig.
- I then die cut them and stuck them on haphazardly using dimensionals so they seem to float off the card.
