Teen Birthday Card

Hello and thank you for visiting my blog!

Today I am featuring another card from my January age cards class.
Male cards are often the hardest makes never mind for teenagers!
I started with this colour scheme:
Then I got out the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set, started playing and here is the result.
I used Brushwork Alphabet stamp set for the name, it is such a useful set to have, you can write what ever you want!

Spring is on it's way

Good afternoon all

Recently some brave spring flowers have been making an appearance. The crocuses in my garden lift my spirits every time I see them so I thought I would give the blog a bit of a spring spruce up! Gone are the lovely autumn colours (my other favourite season of the year). We now have the vibrant greens of spring. Off to make some more cards, My Mother in Law has placed an order as she, her husband and many of her friends hit the big 80 this year!!

Hearts For Valentines!

Following on from the February Jems Blog Hop, this time these hearts are for Valentines!

For this card I used the Sealed With Love bundle, the stamp set has an amazing 27 stamps and there are 14 different dies including the heart border I have used here.
I really like the swirly font on the sentiments and the cheeky lips 😊

Foxy Friends Birthday Card

Hi folks, welcome to my blog and thanks for dropping by.

Today I am sharing a birthday card we made at my January classes which featured personalised and age cards. I designed this as a young child's card but many of my ladies used it to make comical cards for their older friends too! I love this little fox, she looks so dignified! She fits beautifully in the stitched framelit. For the sentiment I used the 'Look Who's Turning' sentiment from the Number of Years stamp set then punched out the 'look who's' using the Duet Banner Punch.

Please leave a comment so I know you passed by. If you want to order any of the supplies used for this card just click on the product below.

Hearts, not just for Valentines.

Hi and welcome to another Jems Blog Hop

This month we are featuring hearts, but with a twist, no valentines cards, so here goes! I thought I would go for a subtle combination the colour inspiration comes from the Falling In Love Designer Series Paper from the new Spring Summer catalogue.

The colours I chose were

And here is the card, I used soft Sky for the card base, Very Vanilla for the mat, the hearts paper from the Falling in Love DSP and some Very Vanilla ribbon.

The back ground in this photo is another sheet of DSP from the Falling in Love suite, isn't it gorgeous!

To finish I used the sweet heart punch to punch Soft Sky and Very Vanilla hearts, I hope you like it.

Now have a hop around and see what the rest of the Jems' blogs have done.
