I thought it would be a good idea to take a closer look at some of my favourite Stampin' Up! products and share with you why I love them. This month I am looking at the Flower Shop stamp set and coordinating punch.
This set is so versatile despite it's simplicity and never struggle for ideas as to what to do next with it!
For week one I thought I would keep it simple and made 3 cards with straightforward designs.
The first one is based on one of Connie Stewart's Flash Card Designs using 3 different stamps in Melon Mambo all punched out.
I have softly curved the petals and used a dimensional to make the front flower stand out. The sentiment is from the new Happy Birthday Gorgeous stamp set from the new catalogue.
The second card has no punching at all, to make one flower stand out I have coloured it in, originally based on a Brian King design I have changed the colours and some of the matting, I always love Brian's matting!
I am not sure where the inspiration from the 3rd card came from but I am always a sucker for a simple card. Just look at all the detail, the stamped image is so crisp and clear.Join me next week for some more Flower Shop stamping inspiration!
