Global Design Project #GDP080: CASE the Designer

This week the GDP is CASEing a card made by Louise Sharp, I just loved the layout, colours everything about this card.

Looking at the size and proportions of the tag I immediately thought Jar of Love!! Add that to my new love - vellum - and I was on my way 😊

Starting with a Crumb Cake base card I have followed Louise's layout replacing the yellow DSP with 2 strips of burlap ribbon to give a rustic feel, I love the way it sparkles. Sticking with the dotty background I have used the By The Shore DSP and taken those colours to stamp my fish using the rock and roll technique to highlight the tail and fins. I have stuck the fish to the burlap ribbon with dimensionals so he is touching the velum so you can see him.

I have finished with the thank you from Circle of Spring using the linen thread to tie it to the jar and tie it in with Louise's card.
