Flower Shop and Pansy Punch, Week 4

Welcome to the final week of the Flower Shop and Pansy Punch series. This was one of the first bundles I bought from Stampin' Up! I often use it in beginners classes because you can make simple cards that look amazing. The only down side is lining up the punch with the stamped image 😔 however help is at hand!! You just need a small piece of card and a pen!
If you always position the dot towards the edge of the card stock you will easily be able to line up the punch every time!! Tah dah!!

For the final 3 projects I have mixed it up a bit 😊 in the first card I have used both the punch and stamp, card 2 just features the punch and card 3 only features the stamp. I cannot recommend this set too much it is so versatile!
Card number 1
A cute little birthday card also featuring the Stitched Shape Framelits, worth buying a Big Shot for all by themselves!!

Card number 2

For the flower I punched out a plain flower in Whisper White then punched out the individual petals from Daisy Delight Designer Series Paper and stuck them on, added 2 punched circles and the sentiment is from Thoughtful Banners. The butterfly is also made using the Pansy Punch - Just snip one of the petals out and add a gem body, who knew!!

Card 3
I thought I would finish on a nice simple card to show case the stamp. A great card for beginners.

Well that is this series complete, I am starting a new series next week so keep watching.

If you want any more details on these or any of my projects just comment below or send me an email. If you want to buy any of the products featured just click below and it will take you to my online shop

Flower Shop and Pansy Punch, Week 3

This week I have ventured in to some 3D projects! I started with The Whole Lot Of Lovely DSP to inspire the colours.

As you can see this paper coordinates with lots of colours.

For the box card I stamped flowers on to the DSP in Tranquil Tide and then punched them out, I love the effect it gives. The card folds flat and fits into a 6" square envelope.

For the little box I made my own DSP  to decorate it and finished it off with some Daffodil Delight stitched ribbon.

For the card I used my favourite combination from the new In Colors, Tranquil Tide with Lemon Lime Twist
The third colour is Tranquil Tide stamped off first. I finished the card with a banner tied with some Linen Thread.

Thank you for stopping by, Pop along same time next week for some more Flower Shop and Pansy Punch ideas. If you want more details on these makes please contact me.

I was a bit perturbed when I saw 5 colours on this week's challenge, I am a plain and simple kinda girl but I managed!

Flower Shop and Pansy Punch, Week 2

Here are the second batch of Flower Shop cards
This time I have gone with a blue colour scheme
Have a look at the detail.
On this card, a few well placed faceted gems finish off the bouquet nicely.
The simplest card, really quick and can be used for any occasion. If you wanted to take it up a notch you could emboss the background and add a sentiment.
Finally probably my favourite card from my weekend at home crafting...
Loads of stamping and masking. I have paired Flower Shop and Pansy Punch with the new Background Bits hostess set, gorgeous. Contact me if you want to know more about Background Bits and any other products or techniques I have used.

Come back next week for more flowery cards.

Joy of Sets Challenge Blog

OUR FIRST CHALLENGE - THE LETTER 'F' #JOS001

What I love about Stampin' Up! is how it all works together and the Flower Shop stamps and Pansy Punch is the perfect example, in fact it is my set of the month. I was thrilled to see the theme for this new challenge blog is the letter F!! More Flower Shop fun 😊
I chose a tranquil palette and stamped my favourite flower repeatedly on whisper white.

Then using the 4cm-ish die from the nesting squares dies I cut out 6 squares. I thought I would arrange them in order but I think this arrangement is better.
The sentiment is from BeautiFul You set (a hidden F!) and finished with a sprinkling of pearls
Let me know what you think below!
All I need to do now is work out a project for the left overs!! Any ideas?
